1. Acceptance of Terms

1.1 These Terms and Conditions, together with our Privacy Policy and Refund & Return Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you (“The Customer”, “You”) and Dondolo U Ltd (“The Seller”, “We”, “Us”, “Dondolo Shop”) regarding your use of https://dondolo.co.ug (the “Site”) and the purchase of any goods (“Goods”).

1.2 By accessing the Site, registering an account, or placing an order, you confirm that you are at least 18 years old (the legal age of contractual capacity in Uganda) and you agree to be legally bound by these Terms immediately.

2 Orders, Pricing and Payment

2.1 All product descriptions, images, prices and specifications on the Site are as accurate as possible, but the final appearance may vary slightly.

2.2 The display of Goods is an invitation to treat, not a firm offer. We reserve the right to correct any pricing errors even after you place an order. If we discover a genuine mistake, we will contact you immediately – you can either pay the correct price or cancel for a full refund.

2.3 A binding Contract of Sale is only formed when we send you an Order Confirmation email/SMS.

2.4 We accept Mobile Money (MTN MoMo & Airtel Money), Visa/Mastercard, Bank Transfer and Cash on Pick-Up or Cash on Delivery (Kampala & selected areas).

2.5 All prices are quoted in Ugandan Shillings (UGX) and are inclusive of VAT and any other applicable taxes in Uganda.

3 Shipping and Delivery

3.1 We deliver nationwide across Uganda and to Kampala & surrounding areas. You must provide a complete and valid delivery address within Uganda.

3.2 Delivery times are estimates only. We are not liable for delays caused by traffic, strikes, weather, customs clearance or any event beyond our reasonable control (Force Majeure).

3.3 Risk of loss or damage passes to you the moment the parcel is handed to you (or left at your door if you instructed us to). Ownership (title) passes only when we receive full payment.

3.4 Please inspect the parcel immediately. If the packaging is damaged, note it on the delivery note before signing and inform us the same day.

4 Returns, Refunds and Warranty

4.1 Returns and refunds are governed by our separate Refund & Return Policy (incorporated here by reference). You generally have 7 days from delivery to return unused items in original condition.

4.2 All electronic goods carry a minimum 12-month manufacturer’s warranty against defects (from date of purchase). The warranty does not cover misuse, liquid damage, accidental damage, unauthorised repairs or normal wear and tear.

5 Your Obligations and Prohibited Use

5.1 You promise that all information you give us (name, phone, address, payment details) is true and accurate.

5.2 You must not use the Site for any illegal purpose, to post abusive or obscene content, to hack or attempt to hack our systems, or to scrape/data-mine the Site with bots without our written permission.

6 Intellectual Property

6.1 All text, photos, logos, product images and software on the Site belong to Dondolo U Ltd or our suppliers and are protected by Ugandan and international copyright laws.

6.2 You may not copy, reproduce, sell or exploit any part of the Site without our written consent.

7 Limitation of Liability

7.1 We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses (e.g. lost profits or data).

7.2 Our total liability to you for any claim will never exceed the price you actually paid for the Goods that caused the problem.

8 Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

8.1 These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Uganda.

8.2 Any dispute shall first be settled through friendly negotiation. If we cannot agree, the matter will be decided exclusively by the courts in Kampala, Uganda.
